Meesho definitely landed a sweet spot in terms of customer segments and product categories. They focused on unstructured categories like apparel, ethnic wear, etc. They did a good job in targeting an underinvested segment of lower affluence shoppers especially outside tier-1 cities. They made affordable products with a wide assortment available
