Client: National K–12 School Chain
Offering: Strategy, Transformation and Go-To-Market

Context

A national K–12 school chain wanted perspective on:

  • Identifying optimal board, fee structures, and offerings for proposed schools across ten micro markets

  • Estimating demand and setting enrolment aspirations for each location

  • Developing communication hooks, a marketing plan, and spend optimization to maximize enrolment

Approach

  • Parent intelligence: Conducted 150+ in-depth parent conversations and focus group discussions across ten micro markets, supplemented by surveys of approximately 150 parents per micro market to assess preferences, brand recall, and willingness to pay

  • Competitive benchmarking: Executed mystery calls across approximately 30 top schools per micro market to benchmark fees, grade-wise supply, enrolments, growth trajectories, and offerings

  • Principal research: Conducted 22 principal in-depth interviews to understand enrolment-driving marketing techniques and activities

  • Demand modelling: Leveraged RERA, Census, and Election Commission data to build micro market demand-supply models and triangulate mismatches

  • Digital benchmarking: Assessed social media presence and EdTech sales and marketing practices of leading K–12 players to identify best practices
